How long does Temu shipping take?

4 to 22 days, depending on the shipping method you choose. Temu offers 2 shipping methods that have different delivery times: Standard shipping can take 6 to 22 days to deliver. Express shipping can take 4 to 11 days to deliver. Temu sends you an order confirmation email with an estimated delivery time after you pay. It typically takes Temu 1 to 3 days to process your order before it goes out for shipment. When your order ships, Temu emails you tracking information.

How much does Temu shipping cost?

Standard shipping is free while express shipping can cost $12.90. All standard shipping orders ship for free. If you choose express shipping and your order is under $129, you pay $12.90 for shipping. If your order is over $129, express shipping is free.

Where does Temu ship from?

Most items on Temu ship from China. While Temu is based in Boston, Massachusetts, it is owned by the Chinese company PDD Holdings. Most of the vendors and manufacturers selling items on Temu are based in China. Temu works similarly to eBay or Amazon in that individual vendors sell their products directly to consumers.

Ways to Speed Up Your Temu Delivery

Choose express shipping when you check out. If you want to get your items within 4 to 11 days, select express shipping. Just know this costs $12.90 if your order is under $129. Or, wait to order items until you have a combined order over $129 to get free shipping.

Purchase from sellers who are closer to you. While orders primarily come from China, Temu ships from all around the world. Choosing to order from sellers who are in your same country or a country closer to you can help you get your order faster. Look for “Local warehouse” tags on the product and the product page. This means the item ships from your country or region.

Avoid placing orders during the holidays. Shipping carriers are often overwhelmed during holidays which can lead to shipping delays. Try to place your orders during the off-season or less busy shipping periods to get your order quicker.

Order items that are currently in stock. Make sure the items you add to your cart aren’t out of stock or on backorder. This can increase the order processing time and cause Temu to take longer to ship.

Make sure your address is correct. Entering an incorrect or incomplete address can slow down delivery. To check your address, sign in to your Temu account, go to “Your Orders,” and select “View order details.” If you need to change your address, click “Edit.” If your order has already been packed and shipped, Temu can’t update your address. Instead, call the carrier delivering your package to notify them of the update.

How to Track Temu Orders

Log in to your Temu account and click “Your Orders.” Go to Temu’s login page and sign into your account. Then, look for “Your Orders” on the left side of the screen. Alternatively, download the Temu app and sign in to your account. If you don’t have a Temu account, find your order confirmation email and click “Track your order.”

Find your order and click the “Track” button. Next to the order you want to track, look for the orange “Track” button. When you click it, Temu shows you the order’s shipping status, estimated arrival, and which carrier is delivering it. Temu also gives you the tracking number. If you prefer, enter the tracking number into the shipping carrier’s website to track your order. If you don’t see any tracking information, your order is likely still processing. You might not see tracking updates until your order arrives in the United States.

What to Do if Your Order is Delayed or Not Delivered

Contact Temu customer service within 90 days of making your order. If it’s past the delivery date or your package shows up as “Delivered” and you haven’t received it, contact Temu. A customer service agent will help you figure out if your order is simply delayed or got lost. Log in to your Temu account to email, chat, or speak with a customer service agent. If your order doesn’t arrive by the estimated delivery date, Temu compensates you $5 if you used standard shipping and $13 if you used express shipping. Some delays are out of Temu’s control and do not qualify for compensation, such as bad weather, natural disasters, and shipping restrictions.

Request a refund if your order never gets delivered. Log in to your Temu account or open the app and go to “Your Orders.” Then, find the order you want to refund and click “Return/Refund.” Confirm that you didn’t receive your package and select “Request a Refund.” You can choose to receive a refund through your original payment method or get Temu credits. It typically takes 5 to 14 days to receive your refund. If you don’t have a Temu account, find your order confirmation email and click “Save your Order." Then, follow the steps to request a refund.

How to Return a Temu Order for a Refund

Sign in to your Temu account and go to “Your Orders.” Log in to your Temu account or open the app. Then, click “Your Orders.” Note: You have 14 days to submit your return once you initiate it. If you don’t send your items back within 14 days, Temu cancels your return.

Click “Return/Refund” and select the reason for your return. Find the order you want to make returns for and tap the “Return/Refund” button. Then, choose one of the reasons Temu gives you for making your return. Depending on the reason you choose, you might have to answer a few more questions about your return.

Choose your refund method. Select whether you want your refund made through your original payment method or whether you want to receive Temu credits. It can take 5 to 14 business days to receive a refund to your original payment method. Temu credits are refunded almost instantly.

Place the items you want to return in the same box. Pack all of the items you’re returning together in the same box. Make sure you include the original barcode for each item. If you don’t have the original barcode, place each item in a clear plastic bag. It might take Temu longer to process your return and refund without the barcodes.

Print out the return label and attach it to the box. Temu emails you a free return label once you initiate a return. Simply print out the label and tape it to the outside of the package. If you can’t find the return label, go to “Your Orders,” click “All Orders,” and select “Print a return label and start return.” Returns are free for the first return you initiate for each order you make. If you initiate another return for the same order, you pay $7.99 plus tax for shipping.

Drop off the return at a UPS or USPS location near you. Take your package to your local UPS or USPS store. Then, simply wait for Temu to receive your return and process your refund. Check the status of your return and refund by going to “Your Orders” and clicking “Returns.”
