How to Draw a Never Ending House
How to Draw a Never Ending House
Would you like to draw a house that seems to go off into the distance and never end? In art this is called a vanishing point. Read on to find out how.
Steps

Begin with a blank piece of paper. Draw a square or rectangle. Use a ruler to ensure your shape has straight lines.

Draw a straight line that connects the top right corner to the bottom left corner and another line connecting the top left corner to the bottom right corner.

Starting where the "X" meets in the middle, draw a line straight until you reach the height you want the middle of your roof to be.

Place your pencil at the end of this line and draw a diagonal line down to the top left and right corner.

Erase the "X" and the line leading to the middle of your roof.

Draw a small dot at a point far away from your house. This will be your vanishing point.

Connect the bottom right corner, top right corner, and the top of your roof to this dot using your ruler.

Complete your drawing with doors, windows or colour it in.

What's your reaction?
