Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s romantic drama film Kushi is doing pretty well at the box office. The much-awaited movie was released on Friday, September 1, and has already collected Rs 70 crore worldwide and is expected to earn Rs 100 crore soon. Meanwhile, the makers have surprised the viewers and dropped the full video of the title song, Kushi. The clip is currently trending all over social media.
The new track from Kushi is a romantic number featuring Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The title song has been sung by Hesham Abdul Wahab, while the lyrics have been penned by Shiva Nirvana. The choreography of the song has been done by Brindha Master. The 3-minute 41-second song is currently going viral and has garnered over a million views on YouTube. Fans have showered their feedback in the comments section. One of the users commented, “My eyes are blessed by watching this song in theatre: lead pair chemistry, beautiful visuals, and Hesham’s magical voice. It’s just perfect in every aspect," and another one said, “I haven’t seen Vijay’s dance at any time, but I am seeing the first in this movie."
According to Sacnilk.com, Kushi on Tuesday earned Rs 2 crore in India from all versions. As a result, the film’s domestic collection as of Tuesday stood at Rs 39.40 crore.
Kushi is written and directed by Shiva Nirvana and produced jointly by Naveen Yerani and Y Ravi Shankar under the production banner of Mythri Movie Makers. The film also stars Sachin Khedekar, Murali Sharma, Vennela Kishore and Rahul Ramakrishna in pivotal roles.
The movie revolves around Vijay’s Viplav and Samantha’s Aaradhya, who fall in love with each other during their vacation in Kashmir. Their families, however, disapprove of their relationship and intervene to try to separate them. The characters of Vijay and Samantha then make the decision to marry in order to disprove the beliefs of their families. Later, differences emerge between the two of them, creating problems in their marriage.
