'I Would Like My Marriage To Happen Organically': Anushka Shetty

After nearly five years, actress Anushka Shetty, who has shot to nationwide fame with Baahubali films, is back to theatres with Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty. Anushka, who will be seen as the chef in the film talked with Gulte.com, where she opened up about her marriage plans, trolling on social media and if there is a possibility of a reunion with Prabhas in future projects. In the video interview, when Anushka was asked when she was getting married, the actress laughed out loud and said that she didn’t have a specific answer to that.

“I would like it to happen organically and at the right time. Marriage is something that will occur when it’s meant to and I believe it has its own timing,” she added.

When the actress was asked about any future projects with Prabhas, Anushka said that the decision was not in her hands. She also mentioned that she is well aware of the fact that fans love their on-screen pairing and it will depend on a great story and vision. She shared that she hopes that someone write a compelling script and character that both Prabhas and she find appealing.

The Arundhati actress opened up about trolling on social media. She said that she isn’t very active on social media and visits it during promotions, however, she doesn’t support trolling at all. Stressing upon the issue, Anushka said, “It’s important to empathise and understand that we’re not flawless. Before abusing/trolling someone, we’ve to first think by wearing their shoes. Everyone has their issues and sensitivities. Trolling isn’t limited to India; it’s a global issue.”

In the interview, Anushka Shetty revealed that she currently has two Malayalam films in her kitty which are set to have a pan-India release and involve fantasy elements and feature intriguing characters.

In Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty, Anushka Shetty is starring opposite Naveen Pollishetty. The romantic comedy is being loved by the cine-goers as they are terming it a light-hearted entertainer. The film is directed by Mahesh Babu P and is bankrolled by Vamsi-Pramod, under the banner UV Creations. It also features Murali Sharma and Jayasudha in significant roles.
