Producer AM Ratnam and director Krish Jagarlamudi approached actor Pawan Kalyan with an epic theme and began making Hari Hara Veera Mallu during a time when he was preoccupied with his political obligations. Three years into the film’s production, just half of the work has been completed, leaving many to question what went wrong. In addition to beginning filming in the sweltering summer of 2021, Pawan Kalyan put his heart and soul into the project by learning several martial arts forms.
With differing opinions on social media about why the film is stalled, some believe that Hari Hara Veera Mallu has overshot its budget and is a pressing issue of concern for producer AM Ratnam. Now, the latest piece of news is that the star of the film Pawan Kalyan himself has stepped in to help the producer.
If reports are to be believed, Kalyan has returned the signing amount of the film to Ratnam. Not only did he return his remuneration but he also told the producer that he could pay the remuneration only if and when he could, according to reports. This has delighted Pawan Kalyan fans and patrons of his Jana Sena Party who are highlighting this as yet another instance that proves that the actor cum politician always stands for those in need.
Meanwhile, as a faction of fans are trolling the makers of the delay, Ratnam himself addressed the issues two months back while speaking at an event for Rules Ranjan. When questioned about it, he claimed that Hari Hara Veera Mallu is a period drama with a wide scope. The master producer stated that the movie cannot be finished quickly, not even if Pawan Kalyan announces back-to-back dates. However, he disclosed some intriguing news, revealing that the movie will be released in two parts.
He went on to claim that set work is taking a long time and there are problems with the dates of other actors. In addition, AM Ratnam said that Hari Hara Veera Mallu will be completed by the end of this year and released before the 2024 elections in Andhra Pradesh.
