A 118-kilometre long human-chain will be formed in riot-hit Muzaffarnagar on April 7 with an aim to raise awareness among voters ahead of Lok Sabha elections.
The human-chain will extend from Bijnor border to Kandhla check post around Muzaffarnagar and is planned by district authorities along with social activists, District Magistrate, Koshal Raj Sharma said.
The event will see participation from schools, colleges and other citizens, said Sharma.
Twenty-two zonal and 134 sector magistrates have been posted to supervise its arrangement, he added.
