New Delhi: About 200 Indians who were stranded in Libya returned on Thursday morning at the Terminal 3 of Delhi IGI International Airport.
Air India had sent a flight to Djerba in Tunisia to evacuate the stranded Indians. The 200 Indian national who reached home on Thursday includes a 18 year old baby. This increases the number of people evacauted to about 500, including the 44 nurses who reached Kochi on Tuesday.
"There were a lot of problems. There was no pace to stay. We have not been paid for the past four to five months. We didn't know where to go," said a an Indian national.
