BJP leader Amit Shah raked up controversy on Saturday by saying the 2014 polls is about revenge and honor.
Addressing a rally in a Jat village in Muzaffarnagar Amit Shah said, “If you want revenge vote for BJP.”
“This election is about voting out the government that protects and gives compensation to those who killed Jats,” Shah said.
Shah was accompanied by BJP legislator Suresh Rana, who is accused of instigating the riots in Muzaffarnagar last year.
Shah said, “A man can live without food or sleep. He can live when he’s thirsty and hungry. But when he’s insulted, he can’t live. Apmaan ka badla toh lena padega.”
Reacting on the statement KC Mittal, AICC legal cell, said that Amit Shah was talking of revenge in Jaat villages of Muzaffarnagar, its horrible.
He said that they have approached the Election Commission.
