BANGALORE: Three separate chain snatching incidents took place in the city within a span of 24 hours.
In Tilaknagar police station limits, a miscreant snatched a gold chain of one, Sarojamma (70), a resident of Jayanagar IV T block on Sunday night. The miscreant, after snatching the chain, fled on a bike.In another incident reported in Subrahmanyapura police station limits, two bikeborne miscreants snatched a gold chain worth over `1 lakh from a housewife.

The victim Lakshmi, a resident of Srinidhi Layout in Kothanur Dinne, on Monday morning was walking back home after buying milk, when she was robbed, the police said.

The victim Harshavardhan, stays in Jayanagar as a paying guest. He was on the way to his tuitions, when the incident occurred. He is a second year B.Com student and was walking in Jayanagar II block, when two bikeborne miscreants followed.
