A 28-year-old man in Madhya Pradesh’s Bhopal died by suicide after he was allegedly being haunted by seven spirits. The police have recovered a suicide note, which mentioned the spirits, and also stated that he was being troubled by some people.
According to a report with TOI, the man’s decomposed body was found on September 22, in his rented room in the Bajaria area of the city.
As the police searched and inspected his room, they found a suicide note, which read, “Many people have troubled me. These seven spirits are troubling me. Now I am leaving my body. In the next birth, I will go back to my original body. I want to get rid of these spirits.”
The man was identified as Tarun Sharma, who worked at a private company in Indore. He hailed from Shahpur village, Betul district in the state.
According to the report, Tarun frequently travelled to Bhopal and other parts of the state for work.
His post-mortem was conducted after which the police handed over his body to his family.
The police have registered a case in the matter and are investigating the cause of his death.
