8-Foot-Long Crocodile Spotted Crawling Along Rainy Road In Maharashtra Town Goes Viral | Watch

A video showing a large crocodile crawling along a rain-soaked road in a coastal Maharashtra town has captured widespread attention on social media.

The incident reportedly happened on Sunday night in the Chinchnaka area of Chiplun town, Ratnagiri district, following heavy rainfall.

The viral video shows the sizable reptile casually strolling in the middle of the road. Several vehicles, including an autorickshaw with its headlights on, can be seen cautiously trailing the crocodile in the footage.

Local residents and onlookers recorded the unusual spectacle and shared it across various social media platforms.

As per authorities, the eight-foot-long crocodile likely ventured into the town from the nearby Shiv or Vashishti rivers.
