New Delhi: A trial court on Tuesday will examine the defence witnesses in the Aarushi-Hemraj duoble murder case. This comes after the Talwars had filed an appeal to have those witnesses summoned that were dropped by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
The court said it was not inclined to interfere with the High Court's order. It added that nothing stops the Talwar couple from calling those witnesses as defence witnesses. This was the second time the Talwars had moved the apex court with the same plea as the court had rejected the plea earlier too, telling the couple to go to the High Court first.
Aarushi Talwar and the Talwars' domestic help Hemraj were found murdered in May 2008. Earlier the apex court had dismissed a petition by Dr Rajesh and Nupur Talwar on examination of 13 witnesses in the case.
