Alleged IM tweet claiming responsibility for Mahabodhi blasts traced to Pakistan
The Twitter account, which only shows two tweets, had posted - "9 Dhamake Hum ne Karay (We are responsible for the nine blasts)".

New Delhi: The IP address of the alleged Indian Mujahideen tweet that claimed responsibility for the serial blasts at Bodh Gaya's famous Mahabodhi temple has been traced to Pakistan. Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde had said in a press conference that the National Investigation Agency will verify the claims allegedly made by the terror outfit.

The Twitter account, which only shows two tweets, had posted - "9 Dhamake Hum ne Karay (We are responsible for the nine blasts)" - on the same day when the blasts occurred. The only other tweet from the account, posted a day before the Bodh Gaya blasts, said, "Hamara Agla Target Mumbai Hai, Rock Sago To Rock Lo, 7days Left (Our next target in Mumbai, stop us if you can, 7 days left)".

The investigative agencies were not taking these two claims made on the social network website seriously as there were spelling mistakes in the account's handle name. However, their probe is likely to expand now as the account has been traced to Pakistan.
