A 17-year-old boy was beaten up by policemen for allegedly stealing petrol from village vehicles.
Hyderabad: A 17-year-old boy was beaten up by policemen in Karimnagar in Andhra Pradesh for allegedly stealing petrol from village vehicles.
What was even worse was that a policeman brandished his revolver at him.
The boy and his accomplice were both caught by villagers and handed over to the police. While the accomplice escaped, the boy was beaten and even caned.
The district SP has ordered an inquiry into the matter.
