Another tusker found dead

ANGUL: Close on the heels of a tusker being electrocuted, carcass of another elephant was found at Katara Forest, 40 km from here, under the Jarpara range on Monday.The about 50-year-old jumbo supposedly died the previous night and was found on the fringe of the reserve forest.The forest officials have ruled out poaching and termed the death as natural due to some disease.  The local villagers are tight-lipped on the issue. It was buried after post-mortem and recovery of the two tusks, said DFO SS Mishra.
