Rahuri: In yet another example of heroic act by the Indian Army, a team of soldiers rescued a man who was trapped under a truck in Rahuri area of Maharashtra by lifting it with their bare hands.
The incident took place on Tuesday on the Nagar-Shirdi Road after a dumper truck tumbled onto a paan stall, trapping the vendor under the truck.
While people present at the accident site tried to call in the policemen and the crane, an Army contingent passing by saw the commotion but the incident caught the eyes of an Army contingent that was passing by.
The soldiers belonging to the Brigade of Guards regiment got down from their vehicles and rescued the man by lifting the truck with their bare hands.
The man was taken to the hospital.
