Bangalore: A 29-year-old man was arrested on Sunday for allegedly raping a two-year-old girl.
The victim's parents are labourers and the accused was their neighbour.

Earlier this week, another 6-year-old girl from a reputed school in Bangalore was raped by her teacher. This comes after another 3-year-old girl was also raped in Bangalore, leaving the entire nation agitated. People even took to the streets in the past few months demanding safety of their children in schools.
In the light of several rape cases emerging from Bangalore schools - Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has announced that the state government will set up a task force on school safety. Siddaramaiah said the task force will hold regular meetings with schools and parents, and ensure that school regulations and guidelines are properly implemented
