Bhupathi, partnering Jie Zheng of China at the French Open, was scheduled to play the semi-final against top seeds Slovenia’s Katarina Srebotnik and Serbia’s Nenad Zimonjic later on Thursday.
Bhupathi-Jie beat Virginie Razzano of France and Rogier Wassen of the Netherlands in straight sets to enter the mixed doubles semis on Tuesday.
They won 6-2, 6-4 in 52 minutes.
