Birdie lands Julia and dog in trouble

Washington: Holly wood actor Julia Roberts fears she's in trouble back home in Taos, New Mexico, after confessing her dog might have chased a stray emu bird out of town.

The actress was promoting her new Broadway, New York, play Three Days of Rain on The Late Show, when she realised she was giving too much information away about the wildlife in New Mexico.

"This giant bird with these plumes was running so fast across the yard and one of my dogs, Martha, was hot on its tail, literally, and it was terrifying,” she was quoted by Contact music, as saying.

"There's an emu farm. I shouldn't be saying this now because that emu's probably missing and they'll come to my house now," she added.
