New Delhi: BlackBerry has announced a price cut of Rs 5,000 for its Q5 smartphone. The Q5 smartphone, which was originally priced at Rs 24,990, is now being sold by Blackberry for Rs 19,990. The BlackBerry Q5 is available in three colours, red, white and black.
The BlackBerry Q5 is BlackBerry's third smartphone to run the new BlackBerry 10 system. The Q5 has a 3.1-inch LCD display. The Q5 differs only slightly from the Q10. It has 2GB of RAM and 8GB of flash memory.
The phone has a 5 megapixel rear camera and a 2 megapixel front camera. The Q5 has a physical keyboard, something that sets BlackBerry's devices apart from Apple's iPhone and most Android phones. The phone is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor and has a 2180mAH non-removable battery.
