KOCHI: Aimed at adding more customers to its fold, the BSNL has introduced a series of offers in prepaid mobile, broadband and landline.Prepaid mobile tariff is changed by introducing talk time of Rs 7 for a top up of Rs 10 with a validity of nine days.Similarly, for a top up of Rs 20, the subscriber gets a talk time of Rs 16.The one year validity voucher worth Rs 280 for 2G is available up to August 12, 2011 with a talk time of Rs 250 and validity of one year.Apart from introducing attractive schemes for India telephone card, the BSNL has come out with offers for broadband and landline customers.Installation charges for landline connection will be waived for customers who purchase their own telephone instrument and they will get 300 free calls for the first three months.Similarly, “Jai Jawan Mobile Prepaid Plan” enables the customer to call anywhere in India free of cost for 20 minutes daily.Post Paid Rakshak Plan, Defence Officers Post Paid Plan, BSNL Mithram are the other plans launched by the BSNL.The telecom major has also lined out internet services called GPON and BSNL Wimax.The BSNL is also completing a new broadband network linking 400 universities, affiliated colleges and polytechnics in the country.Through the network, the universities and colleges are linked through a virtual private network.In addition, the company has launched a new unlimited 2G plan for Rs 399 per month for Blackberry service.A telecom mela will be conducted at all customer service centres and services from July 12 to 14 to offer all BSNL products to the customers.
