BSY takes on BJP, moves MLAs to resort in protest
Yeddyurappa has been demanding his reinstatement as Karnataka chief minister.

New Delhi: The political crisis in Karnataka deepened further on Sunday as former chief minister BS Yeddyurappa shifted about 40 of his loyal MLAs to a resort on the outskirts of Bangalore.

Yeddyurappa has been demanding his reinstatement as the Chief Minister.

His supporters have even threatened to quit and claim that they are ready to face early polls.

Ten BJP MPs, who are supporting Yeddyurappa, will meet the party's top brass at Parliament House on Monday. The Yeddyurappa faction has decided to take the high command head on.

Meanwhile, the MLAs will be in the resort for two days. The BJP must take a decision within those 48 hours.
