A GoM will take up the issue of sealing of unauthorised shops in the Capital in the Cabinet meet on Thursday.
New Delhi: A Group of Ministers (GoM), headed by Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil, will take up the issue of sealing of unauthorised shops in the Capital in the Cabinet meeting to be held on Thursday, official sources said.
Besides giving the details of their meetings, decisions and steps taken on the issue so far, the GoM will also apprise the Cabinet about the Supreme Court directions and the developments thereafter.
The GoM was set up by the Government in the aftermath of largescale violence that had marred the traders' bandh on September 20 called to protest the sealing, to find a solution to the vexed issue.
However, sources said the GoM has not prepared any written report on the issue.
