CBI files 12 more cases against Martin, Kennedy

KOCHI: The CBI on Monday filed FIR in 12 more cases registered in connection with the multi-crore lottery scam.Lottery kingpin Santiago Martin and his kin A John Kennedy were implicated main accused in these cases also, which were submitted before the Ernakulam Chief Judicial Magistrate Court.The CBI on Saturday had filed four FIRs in four separate cases relating to the lottery scam. Santiago Martin and John Kennedy were accused in three of the cases, including cases for violation of Lottery Act, forgery and cheating. The CBI also arraigned the agents of Bhutan lotteries in the state.
