RAICHUR: Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda lauded the service of CISCO Systems, Bangalore, for constructing houses for the flood-affected under the Aasare scheme here.He was speaking at a function at Bisali, near here, after CISCO officials handed over the houses to the beneficiaries. The CM also inaugurated a newly constructed primary health care (PHC) centre at Gillesugur, which uses equipment provided by the company.Earlier, Chief Globalisation Officer of CISCO Wim Elfrink handed over the keys of the constructed houses to the CM. President of inclusive growth of Cisco systems and executive sponsor for the project Aravind Sitaraman said that the company has constructed and handed over 1,200 houses to the government. Also, it has constructed 3,000 houses at Bichali, Talmari, Chikmanchali and Kataknur villages at a cost of `47 crore.The chief minister said that the state government aims to construct 58,000 houses for flood affected families, of which 43,000 houses are ready.
