THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The CPM inquiry into the Gopi Kottamurickal case may nail the complainants as well. Top sources in the party told 'Express' that the complainant, K A Chackochan, has been asked to submit all documents related to the complaint to the inquiry commission comprising Vaikom Viswan, A K Balan and M C Josephine.
A pendrive which allegedly carries explicit visuals of CPM Ernakulam former district secretary and a woman is learnt to be annexed to the complaint filed by Chackochan to the state leadership. However, the inquiry commission has also been asked to find out how those visuals were shot from within the Lenin Centre, an ironwalled fort of CPM in Ernakulam.

Leaders who had access to those visuals said those were not shot by a mobile phone camera. "t may be a highercamera, probably an advanced spycam,'' said a leader. The commission will now probe into how such a camera had been installed inside the office room of the CPM district secretary. Whether any other secret discussions held inside the secretary's room had been recorded also needs to be found out, said sources.

Cornering the complainants is important in this case, as the official faction suspects the hands of senior CPM leaders behind the complaint.
