Depressed over tiff, woman ends life

BANGALORE: Following a quarrel with her husband, a woman who was allegedly dejected, committed suicide by setting herself ablaze. The incident was reported in Weavers Colony in J P Nagar police station limits, on Saturday night. The deceased Yashodamma (48), was married to one, Narayanaswamy and had two children, Bhavani and Kumar. According to the police, the couple fought frequently over trivial issues. On Saturday night too, the couple had a fight, which made Yashodamma upset. While the rest of her family members were asleep, she set herself on fire. Later, the body was sent to Victoria Hospital for the post mortem. J P Nagar police have registered a case and further investigations are on.
