Disproportioanate assets case against BJP MLA

BANGALORE: A complaint was filed against BJP MLA from Rajarajeshwarinagar constituency, M Srinivas, at the Lokayukta Court on Tuesday, charging him and his family members of amassing wealth disproportionate to their known sources of income.The private complaint was filed by social activist Dinesh, who said Srinivas’s assets valued at over Rs 300 crore. However, he had declared his assets to be much lesser, the complainant alleged.Srinivas’s wife Ratnamma, his son Venkatesh Babu, a Corporator, and his daughter- in-law were also named in the report. Lokayukta Court Judge N K Sudhindra Rao posted the case to March 28 for further hearing.
