Delhi and adjoining areas were struck by an earthquake, with an intensity 4.1 on the richter scale, at 2131 hrs IST on Sunday night.
New Delhi: Mild tremors shook Delhi and adjoining areas in the National Capital region on Sunday night forcing people to run out of their homes.
The earthquake, with an intensity 4.1 on the richter scale, struck at 2131 hrs IST but there was no major panic and no casualties were reported immediatley.
The epicentre of the earthquake was said to be between Jhajjar and Rohtak in Haryana.
Another earthquake of slight intensity shook parts of quake-prone Kutch region of Gujarat.
The temblor, measuring 3.7 on the Richter Scale, was felt at 2025 hrs IST.
