Mumbai: The Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport's (BEST) has decided to go ahead with the revision of all non-air conditioned and air conditioned buses from Wednesday. The daily bus ticket in Mumbai will be hiked by 1 and 5 rupees respectively.
Commuters using the Bandra-Worli Sea Link in Mumbai will also have to shell out more money. According to the new rates, those using cars will have to pay Rs 60 for single journey and Rs 90 for a return journey.

This fare revision was awaited as the BMC does not provide BEST with any subsidy. The fare revision will majorly affect the travel budget of lakhs of daily commuters.
