Farmer allegedly commits suicide after inadequate compensation for crop failure

Sambhal(Uttar Pradesh): A twenty five year old farmer has committed suicide in the Sambhal district. The farmer was reportedly distressed after not receiving compensation for his damaged crops. The local administration has announced compensation of five lakh to the farmer's family.

The young farmer named Chandra Vijay was fed up because of not getting the compensation cheque. His age was 25 years. He hanged himself with a tree in his farm. Resentment has spread among the farmers with this news.

According to the district administration, it was a matter of compensation cheque against the loss of dead farmer's crops. Family of the farmer will be given Rupees 5 Lakh as a helping amount.
