Feasibility study for flyover at Koratty

KOCHI: A feasibility study will be conducted for a flyover at Koratty junction along the Angamaly-Mannuthi National Highway, Works Minister V K Ibrahim Kunju has said. He was speaking at a meeting of public representatives in Chalakkudy in connection with the national highway development. A decision has been taken to develop Koratty junction where the new railway overbridge joins the National Highway, he said. Also, the government has decided to set up a traffic security system, the minister said.Chalakkudy MLA B D Devassy, Roads and Bridges Corporation MD Mohammed Hanish, National Highway chief engineer Leena and Chalakkudy block panchayat president Sinso Thankachan and Koratty grama panchayat president Manesh Sebastian also attended the meeting.
