New Delhi: Ashton Kutcher has replaced Charlie Sheen in the hit TV show 'Two and a Half Men', and the first look of the revamped show was released earlier this week.
The 33-year-old actor features in the advertisement with co-stars Jon Cryer and Angus T Jones, as the men appear nude, holding up a sign that reads 'All Will Be Revealed' with the date of the series premiere.
Ashton Kutcher will play Charlie, a freelance jingle composer and a Casanova who lives in a luxurious beach-house and rarely gets up before noon.
Running since 2003, the sitcom revolves around lives of brothers Charlie, Alan and Alan's son Jake. Charlie "temporarily" allows Alan and his food-obsessed, lazy son Jake, who shuttles between his separated parents. And the supposed food-obsessed Jake looks visibly leaner in the advertisement released. He surely has grown up with the passing years.
After a unceremonious and sudden sacking of Charlie Sheen from the show it remains to be seen if the Harper brothers Charlie and Alan can continue creating the magic.
Sheen was among TV's highest-paid actors at a reported $1.8 million an episode.
Before Kutcher replaced Sheen on the show there were many speculations in the media about various stars being considered for the popular role. Apparently the Nottinghill star Hugh Grant was a strong contender as well.
