HYDERABAD: PCC president and transport minister Botcha Satyanarayana has said that he will strive to provide sub-plan funds with constitutional protection for backward classes in the annual budget and hoped that the BCs in the state will create history by securing subplan funds.Addressing a BC conference here on Sunday, Satyanarayana said the united fight to achieve BCs' long-pending demands should continue.He said the Congress government was committed to providing Indiramma Rajyam for the welfare and development of BCs.Chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy would fulfil the assurances given in the past to BC organisations, he said.“Calling for political reservation to BCs, he appealed to all BC organisations to discuss ABCD categorisation and prepare a document to enable the government to take a decision.He said the government would take steps to protect Mahatma Phule statues and condemned attacks on Ambedkar statues
