Mumbai: Gmail looks all set to sport a brand new design, if leaked images are to be believed. Not only is the web service about to get a major revamp, Gmail for Android and iOS too are in line for a makeover.

Android Police sparked off the redesign frenzy by showing off leaked screenshots of the updates that originated from Google I/O. In a session called Structure in Android App design, Google threw in, nonchalantly, a slide that showed a revamped Google for Android navigation drawer.

The new drawer will cover most of the Inbox instead of the current design that looks like it "pushes" your mailbox. Switching between the Inbox and Priority Inbox is now easier too. Currently you have to head to the "All labels" screen to view the Priority Inbox. It is assumed that you will be able to scroll through this navigation drawer that will pop up over the Inbox, as the screenshot does not show important sections like Drafts and Spam.

Following the Android leak, The Next Web also put up screenshots of the leaked Web and iOS Gmail services. Gmail for Web will now feature five tabs to categorise emails to keep your Inbox clutter-free. Categories now include: Primary, Social, Promotions, Updates and Forums.
