The preparations for the same have already been completed by the Department of School Education and Literacy. Classes will be organized from five AIR centers in the state as well as from Bhagalpur All India Radio station. Sessions will be aired through All India Radio twice every day for ten minutes.
The classes will be aired for Ranchi, Hazaribagh and Chaibasa at 9.20 am. While the timings for Jamshedpur will be 9.30 am, Daltonganj at 9.15 pm.
In a similar fashion, classes will be held at 5:45 pm for cities of Ranchi, Daltonganj; and Bhagalpur, Hazaribagh at 5.50 pm and Chaibasa at 6.30 pm.
The main purpose behind the unique initiative is to help those students who don’t have expensive smartphones due to poor financial conditions.
Out of a total 40 lakh children, only 13 lakh students were only able to access the content available online. Rest of them don’t have the means to access the education material.
