HC notice to government

KOCHI: The Kerala High Court on Thursday issued a notice to the state government on the bail plea of the CPM leaders arrested in connection with the murder of Revolutionary Marxist Party leader T P Chandrasekharan.Justice N K Balakrishnan issued the notice on a petition filed by CPM Onchiyam area committee secretary C H Ashokan and Onchiyam area committee member K K Krishnan. They said that the police had falsely implicated them in the case following a political conspiracy hatched by those in power. The petitioners said that  the police had found out that the murder was committed due to personal enmity. The court adjourned the case to June 6.
