HYDERABAD: After coming under attack by T activists for two days, the vehicles carrying government employees to the Secretariat were taken out of the NGO's colony amid unprecedented security on Wednesday. A thick blanket of police security was thrown and the convoy of buses passed out of the locality without any obstruction. So tight was the security that the convoy of buses looked like a VIP convoy. A few number of employees turned out for duty on Wednesday and they were outnumbered by the police. A series of police vehicles, including some private ones, and a Vajra vehicle accompanied the buses. The Rapid Action Force (RAF) and paramilitary forces were also pressed into service. The NGO's Colony turned into a fortress with RAF personnel lined up across the streets and traffic was halted for the buses to leave the locality.
