There are people who have not received even one year after their applications were filed,” said K-HATS director M P Sivadathan.“Santhosh Tom, who is running Vasco Homestay and Xavier, the owner of Delight Homestay have not been issued the certificates even one year after the application was filed,” he said.As per the rules, those who run homestays classified by the department of tourism has to renew their licence in every two years.
