There has been a lot of buzz about Homi Adajania's 'Finding Fanny'. And this is not only because of the seasoned star cast, but also the title.

Fanny is a slang which mean derriere in North America and a woman's private part in England. And when filmmaker Homi was in the capital to promote his movie, IBNLive.com asked him why he selected the title to be 'Finding Fanny'.

"Fanny is a pet name for a woman called Stefanie so you can call her Stef or Fanny, which ever you like. I am very well aware that it is called bottom in north America and it also means a woman's something else in England. I just felt that the title of 'Finding Fanny' had a ring to it. No pun intended here because in India it is not understood in any other context. So there was no double meaning or anything of that sort," he clarified.

When asked about Dimple Kapadia and the role she plays in 'Finding Fanny', he said, "Dimple Kapadia bullies me and says if I don't take her in my films then I will have to bear the consequences. So I don't have a choice but to take her in my movie. Her role in this movie is that of a lazy woman who wants to do virtually everything - she match makes people, works with the church. She is a widow and Deepika is her daughter-in-law who is also a widow. They both live together in this house. The reason why I wanted Dimple to have this big bum and to have this look, is that she has got a lot of... you think it's confidence and she walks around strutting her stuff. You know she doesn't look cheap. She is a beautiful woman and the reason why she is having all these characteristics is because she is hiding quite a painful secret which made her into this woman."

Homi also spoke to us the movie's theme. "This movie does look funny and entertaining, but when you peel the layers out, you will feel that that it's very subtle," he said.
