IPL molestation: Victim's threat claims to be probed
The Delhi Commission for Women is expected to send a notice to RCB team director Sidhartha Mallya for his tweets on the incident.

New Delhi: The Delhi Police on Monday is expected to probe the complaints of threat made by the victim in the IPL molestation case involving Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) player Luke Pomersbach. The victim, an American national, had said that five people, including three IPL players, had threatened her to drop the case against Pomersbach.

The police will also question a Mumbai-based businessman, said to be a key witness in the case.

The police is also likely to examine two other men seen in the CCTV footage recovered from the hotel where the victim and her fiance were staying. One of the two men was the victim's fiance's friend and was allegedly assaulted during the incident.

Meanwhile, The Delhi Commission for Women is expected to send a notice to RCB team director Sidhartha Mallya for his tweets on the incident.

The police on Sunday recorded the statement of Sahil, the victim's fiance. He corroborated his fiancee's version of events, that Luke punched him three to four times in their hotel room.

Sahil's condition is said to be stable now and he is expected to be discharged from hospital by Monday morning.
