Mumbai: Jaipur girl Koyal Rana was crowned the new Femina Miss India 2014 in a star studded event at the Yash Raj Studio in Mumbai on Saturday night. She was crowned with the Miss India World title and was selected amongst 24 other gorgeous finalist.
The runners up were Jhataleka Malhotra (1st runner-up) from Mumbai and Gail Da'Silva (2nd runner-up) from Goa. Koyal Rana was crowned at the event by Naveneet Kaur Dhillon, Miss India 2013 and Miss World 2013 Megan Young.
The event saw spectacular performances by celebrities like Sonakshi Sinha, Shahid Kapoor, Yo Yo Honey and Mika Singh. The panel of jury comprised of actors Malika Arora Khan, Abhay Deol, Jacqueline Fernandez, ace designer Manish Malhotra, singer Honey Singh, Miss World 2013 Megan Yang, actor Vidyut Jamwal, actor Aditi Rao Hydari and world champion boxer Vijender Singh.

To ensure national representation, fbb Femina Miss India 2014 traversed through the length and breadth of the country to scout talent. The selection process was spread across three stages; City Auditions, Regional Auditions and City Pageants. The city auditions took place across 14 cities, with Regional auditions in 3 cities. There were two city Pageants, one being in Delhi and the other in Kolkata that culminated into the Final round of auditions in Mumbai.
