KOCHI: National Police Academy director V N Rai on Monday visited the Kadavanthra police station to review and study the functioning of the Janamaithri police. An interactive session, including V N Rai, residents association members, Kudumbashree members, children police and other police officers in the city, was held as part of the programme. The session concluded that the Janamaithri policing was successful.State Janamaithri police nodal officer B Sandhya, City Police Commissioner M R Ajith Kumar, Deputy Commissioner T Gopalakrishna Pillai, Assistant Commissioner Sunil Jacob, Central CI Suneesh Babu, sub-inspectors Ananthalal and Anil George took part in the programme. V N Rai later visited Fort Kochi, Janamaithri Centre and Palarivattom Janamaithri police station.
