HYDERABAD: Physics exams in the state seem to be jinxed. After the Intermediate exam fiasco, the students who wrote the supplementary exam on Wednesday were left scratching their heads over two questions that carried mistakes. While question no. 13 for Telugu medium students was incomplete (a part of it got attached to the next question), question no. 19 was translated wrongly from English. But while the takers of the test rued the errors, there were thousands of students like Jyoti of C V Raman College in Kurnool, who were left in tears as they could not take the exam for want of hall ticket. In a major goof-up, college managements failed to remit the exam fee collected from students to the Board of Intermediate Education. After a house motion was moved by several parents on Tuesday, the High Court on Wednesday afternoon directed BIE to issue hall tickets. But by then the exam was over and whether students would be able to write the test again is the big question now.
