J&K: Security forces kill two terrorists in Shopian; encounter underway

Shopian: Security forces on Thursday morning killed two terrorists in the jungle area of Kharot in Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir.

The encounter broke out earlier in the morning between terrorists and joint forces of Jammu and Kashmir Police, Indian Army and CRPF.

Two to three terrorists are believed to be trapped in nomads huts in the jungle. A fire fight going on in the area.

This is second encounter in last 48 hours. In an encounter on Wednesday the security forces killed one Lashkar-e-Toiba terrorist after eight hour long gun battle in Sopore.
