JKSSB Forest Guard Results of written test for the post of Social Forestry Worker/ Wildlife Foresters / Wildlife Guard/ Forest Guard (Matric level exam) have been declared by the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) on its official website – jkssb.nic.in.
JKSSB had organized the OMR based Objective Type written test on 24th December 2017 across the state. The results are purely provisional in nature and selection is subject to document verification and counseling which is slated to begin from 5th March 2018, next month. Candidates who had appeared in written test can follow the instructions below and check their result now:
How to check JKSSB Forest Guard Results 2017?
Step 1 – Visit the official website - http://jkssb.nic.in/
Step 2 – Click on the notification that reads,
Provisional Shortlist for Counselling and document verification of candidates as per merit acquired in written test for the posts of Social Forestry Worker/ Wildlife Foresters / Wildlife Guard/ Forest Guard (Matric level exam) for which OMR Based Objective Type Written Test was held on 24th December 2017.
Step 3 – A PDF will open, CTRL+F with your Roll Number to check your result
Step 4 – Download your result page and take a printout for future reference
As per the official notification, “the appearance of the candidates in the written examination was purely provisional as the documents verification was still pending,” also, “the candidates figuring in Annexure “A” to this notice have now been shortlisted for document verification, on the basis of the merit acquired by them in the Written Test.
It may be noted that candidates called for document verification are in excess of actual number of posts and as such no candidate figuring in the enclosed list should have any claim to his/her inclusion in the final Selection list simply on the ground of being figuring herein;”
The counseling schedule for each candidate is listed in the result notification and candidates need to reach at Central Office, J&K Services Selection Board, Sehkari Bhawan, Panama Chowk Rail Head Complex Jammu (Jammu Based items) and Camp Office, J&K Services Selection Board, Zum Zum Buidling Rambagh Srinagar, (Kashmir Based items) at 10.30 am sharp, along with documents mentioned below:
1. Copy of Online Application form
2. D.O.B Certificate.
3. Original Certificate of Secondary School (10th ) Certificate.
4. Physical fitness certificate issued by Chief Medical Officer of the concerned district.
5. Reservation category certificate, if applicable.
6. Permanent Resident certificate.
7. Other documents as per the advertisement.
