Mumbai: The Juhu-Lonavala commercial sea-plane service is scheduled to be launched on Monday.
The state government is looking at it as a step to boost tourism in Maharashtra.

The project was awaiting a green signal from the Defense and Shipping ministries. The journey from Mumbai to Lonavala takes about two and a half hours by road, and now travelers can cover the distance within 30 minutes.
The tickets for the sea plane are priced at around 3000 rupees.
