Ganesh Kasargod, eminent journalist from Sandalwood cinema has launched a book titled as '100 films and 100 memories' - in Kannada 'Nooru Chitragalu Nooraru Nenapugalu'.
The book was released recently and has garnered a positive response. It was launched at KH Kala Soudha, adjacent to Sri Ramananjeya Hill in Hanumanthanagar, Bangalore.
Ganesh Kasargod is noted for his unique thought provoking ideas and hard hitting facts on film personalities in the past. He has penned yet another marvel that coincides with the 100 years of the Indian Cinema.
In his book '100 Chitragalu Nooraru Nenapugalu' Ganesh Kasargod has layed focus on certain films of his choice and has given a listing.
He has also narrated some of the interesting episodes from the movies that are unknown or very less people know of. In that way the book is very special.
The evening became even more special as another book on Dr PB Srinivos 'Sarala Sajjanikeya Dr PB Srinivos' a collection of articles from 33 persons on unforgettable Dr PBS was also released by Sundara Prakashana.
Dr RK Padmanbha, Dr Rajesh, Shivaramanna, KSL Swamee, director Guruprasad and attended the evening.
The evening was also filled with music from well known singers like BK Sumithra, Kasthuri Shanker, Nagaraj Havaldar, Pancham Halabandi, Shashidhar Kote were part of the event..
