New Delhi: Being a star child has its own pros and cons, says Esha Deol, the elder daughter of yesteryear stars Dharmendra and Hema Malini.
"I don't take pressure on myself, people put pressure on me and it's not just. It could be Abhishek (Bachchan) or any other star kid. Right from our first film we are compared to our parents, who have done 200 films. Kids can't be a carbon copy of their father or mother," Esha told IANS.
But the actress, who was seen in 'Tell Me O Khuda', did point out the finer points of being a star child.
"There is pressure, expectation, comparison but there is also a very nice thing -- being a star kid, we are always very protected and no one can mess around," she added.
Priyanka Chopra's recording woes
Priyanka Chopra is excited about her first music album, but she is also tired of spending long hours in the recording studio in Los Angeles.
"I am unbelievably tired.... Long day in the studio.. Standing in the booth for so long is killing my feet.. Phew... Still a while to go...," Priyanka wrote on microblogging site Twitter.
I don't fear failure: Sonam Kapoor
Sonam Kapoor has more flops than hits, but the actress happily embraces failures and feels it's the secret to success.
"I don't fear failure because if you don't fail, you would not know the secret of success," Sonam told IANS.
"I don't take praise and I don't take criticism seriously. I just feel like I need to work hard, improve myself and that I need to keep working towards it," she added.
