Kiliroor sex scandal: Trial adjourned to October

KOCHI: The Eranakulam CBI Special Court on Tuesday adjourned to October 18, the trial  proceedings in the infamous Kiliroor sex scandal. The Ernakulam CBI Special Court had earlier framed charges against six persons including the  key accused Latha Nair who allegedly took the girl to many places and presented her to many.The prosecution case is that, Shari of Kiliroor, a teenager, was subjected to sexual exploitation by the accused, by offering  her roles in cinema and television serials in 2003.Apart from Latha Nair, Praveen of Cherthala, Manoj of Thiruvankulam, Binu of Nattakom,  Somanathan of  Kumali, Prasanth of  Eroor are the other accused. All the accused were present in the court on Tuesday.
